On August 28, 1995, the Taihu Lake Water Intake Project was launched and the construction of the first water supply plant (located at Xinggang Street) in Suzhou Industrial Park began. In 2014, the Yangcheng Lake Water Plant was completed and put into production. As a result, the Suzhou Industrial Park took the lead in realizing the safe water supply pattern of “Dual Plants and Dual Sources of Water” in Suzhou City.
