Green bookshelf: "Green Reading, Value Sharing”
In 2012, the "Green Bookshelf" co-building plan was officially launched. In the past five years, the project has developed an accumulative of over 80 joint development sites, and more than 30,000 environmental protection books have been donated for the primary and secondary schools, libraries, and community reading rooms in Suzhou Industrial Park and green spirit food has been sent to the public.
Green classroom: "Journey of a Drop of Water" and "Journey of Clean Energy”
Since 2011, CSPU has launched the “Green Classroom” public welfare projects together with its public utilities and environmental protection companies and regularly invited the general public to visit public utilities and environmental protection infrastructure and source factories, thus forming two environmental protection education tour routes -- "Journey of a Drop of Water" and "Journey of Clean Energy”. At the same time, we have actively conducted environmental lectures in schools and communities. For more than six years, we have provided an accumulative level of service of more than 5,000 people.
Love of Green: Green Assistance, Reward the Community
In 2013, the project of “Love of Green” was officially launched with a view to provide micro energy-saving and water-saving transformation services and water and electricity supply assistance to difficult families in the community. Specifically, in 2016, the company provided more than 10,000 cubic meters of natural gas for 80 difficult families in the park free of charge, and in 2017, it provided 10,000 tons of tap water for 100 difficult families in the park free of charge. Up to now, the project has accumulatively helped more than 300 families with difficulties and become a way for companies to reward the community.
Large Environmental Protection Photo Exhibition of "100 Places to Remember Before they Disappear"
During the United Nations Climate Conference in 2009, a photo exhibition titled "100 Memories to Remember Before they Disappear" was held in the famous scenic spot in Copenhagen, Denmark -- Kongens Nytorv. The exhibition displayed the excellent works collected by world-famous image agency Getty Images over the years. The exhibition aroused great concern of people about the destructive power of the environment and climate change by demonstrating the beauty of nature. In 2013, CSPU obtained the copyright in the use of these 100 pictures, and brought this great world-class environmental protection exhibition to Suzhou, so as to share the beauty with the citizens of Suzhou, and warned everyone that if humans do not take the corresponding actions, those beautiful natural scenery and ancient civilization cities as well as the species that have long been the companions with humanity will disappear forever.
