By creating the quality ecological products for the city, CSPU can treat nearly 300,000 tons of sludge each year by means of reduction, hazard-free treatment and recycling. Moreover, it also treats 24,000 tons of industrial wastes every day, and supplies the cooling of 2.4 million tons of USRT annually. It is capable of disposing 9,000 tons of industrial solid waste and 100,000 tons of waste liquid, etc. each year.
In the future, by committing to the concept of “Green Public Utilities, Innovative Development,” CSPU will build an integrated green public utilities service system centered on environmental services and strive to become a leader in the field of integrated environmental services. By serving the new urbanization and the construction of new industrial parks, it is dedicated to making the city better.
The predecessor of CSPU was the Suzhou Industrial Park Public Utilities Development Co., Ltd. established in 1994. In 2002, it established the group company. With the registered capital of 1.21 billion Yuan, it currently has 7 holding subsidiaries, 1 joint controlling company, and 13 joint stock companies.
CSPU is a subsidiary of China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China-Singapore Group" or "CSSD"). In January 2016, CSSD made the initial application and passed the review of the Main Board Issuance Review Committee of China Securities Regulatory Commission.
As the development and construction of the Suzhou Industrial Park was comprehensively started, the Suzhou Industrial Park Public Utilities Development Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of CSPU) was established with the approval of the working committee and the management committee of the park.
The working committee and the management committee of the park decided to reform and reorganize the state-owned enterprises in the park. With the basis of the public utilities and development limited companies in Suzhou Industrial Park and the integration of the assets of the public utilities source factories such as water affairs, gas, and thermal power, etc. in the park, the Suzhou Industrial Park Municipal Utilities Development Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Municipal Public Utilities Group" or "SIPMP") was established with a registered capital of 380 million Yuan, thus becoming the main body of municipal public utilities infrastructure financing, investment, construction, operation, management and service of the park.
The state-owned shareholders of the company and China-Singapore Group (CSSD) will successively inject the municipal utility pipe network assets such as water supply, sewage, gas, etc. into the company. The registered capital of the company increased to RMB 1.21 billion, and the share proportion of China-Singapore Group (CSSD) increased to 50%, thus becoming the first majority shareholder of the company.
The name of company was changed to “China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Public Utilities Development Group Co., Ltd.”, or abbreviated as “China-Singapore Public Utilities” or “CSPU”.
The Company formulated a new round of development plan and clarified the development direction of “green public utilities”.
