In 2002, The Committee of the General Branch of the CS Public Development Group Co., Ltd. of the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park of the Chinese Communist Party was established with the approval by the working committee of the Suzhou Industrial Park of the Chinese Communist Party.

At present, the general branch consists of five Party branches, namely the First Joint Branch, Branch of Suzhou Industrial Park QingYuan Huayan Water Affairs Co., Ltd., Branch of Suzhou Town Gas Co., Ltd., Branch of Suzhou Industrial Park Lantian Gas Thermal Power Co., Ltd., and Branch of Suzhou Dongwu Thermal Power Co., Ltd. with a total of 189 party members.

Since the 18th National Party Congress, the General Branch has firmly implemented the related requirements for the management of the party with strict standard, and has effectively integrated the party building work with the company development strategy, production management and daily management. It solidly promoted “the three guidelines for ethical behavior and the three basic rules of conduct” and actively implemented “studies on the theoretical and practical issues of party building”. In addition, it has made effort in the implementation of the "mass line" and guided the majority of party members and cadres to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, enhance the party consciousness, and strengthen the concept of purpose, as well as effectively improve the "four consciousness" and "four confidences".

With the combination of the characteristics of the company's business, the general Party branch has regarded serving the people as an important part of party building.
